Selma's Fish
“Once upon a time, there was an achromatic village. Living there was so bland and boring that nothing was worth expecting. However, there was a kid named Selma, who’s curious about everything. One day, Selma found...” The name of Selma comes from a very important human-rights movement in the history of the United States, mainly about the African Americans fighting for freedom. Through this work, I try to express something we lose gradually or have lost already when growing up. If we can raise such awareness of those we’ve left behind and believe a possibility to fulfill a dream we’ve ever dreamed, I believe, some day we can still get back to it."
Medium: Pencil, Collage, Digital Painting, Sewing Thread on Oil Canvas
